Constructed Chaos
January 25 - June 1, 2025 AdmissionConstructed Chaos explores the dynamic interplay between structure and spontaneity through abstract art. The works on display delve into the dual forces that shape our existence—the inherent order that seeks stability, clarity, and control, juxtaposed with the chaotic, unpredictable energy that disrupts, redefines, and challenges the status quo.
Through various mediums and techniques, the artists reflect on how these opposing forces shape both the external world and our internal landscapes. The exhibition speaks to the moments where chaos and order converge, pushing and pulling against each other, creating a tension that we navigate daily in our personal and collective lives. Some works embrace the flux and freedom of unrestrained experimentation, while others impose rigid lines, patterns, and forms that anchor the viewer’s perception, offering a sense of security amidst the storm.
This exhibition asks us to reflect on the complexity of balance. How does order manifest amid uncertainty? Can chaos ever find structure, and does order need to be disrupted to be truly understood? As viewers move through the space, they are invited to experience the unresolved friction between these forces, and perhaps, to find their own place within this shifting continuum.
