This is the first time that the Museum will exhibit photographs from Museum Photography Collection. Many of the exhibited works were donated to the Museum by the Racella Family Foundation. Selections from the Museum Photography Collection will include: Ansel Adams, Thomas Archambeault, Eugene Atget, Patrick Clancy, Linda Connor, Judy Dater, Robert Dawson, Harold Edgerton, Gilbert Fastenaekens, Larry Fink, Emmet Gowin, Pat Jesaitis, Mark Klett, Richard Loftus, Ricci Racella, Lloyd Schnell, Aaron Siskind, Gary Sutton, Tom Waid, and Jack Welpott. The exhibited photography was curated from the Museum collection by Nancy Weant, Staff Historian and State Fair Community College Faculty Member and Amanda Elliott, Museum Intern. Featured in this exhibition will be a large body of work by internationally known San Francisco photographer Jack Welpott. Mr. Welpott will give an Artist Talk at 8:00 p.m. on May 30, 2003 in the Theatre of the Stauffaucher Center for the Fine Arts.
