Spectrum

June 21 - December 16, 2025 Admission

Spectrum explores color as both a connective force and a human language. Drawing from the Daum collection, this exhibition brings together contemporary works that illuminate how color shapes not only what we see, but also how we relate to space, to one another, and ourselves.

Here, color is not merely a visual experience, but a relational one. The vibrant, saturated fields and delicately modulated hues on view demonstrate how colors interact. They sometimes clash, harmonize, amplify, or dissolve into each other, mirroring how human beings connect, contrast, and coexist. As such, each artwork in Spectrum becomes a site where color relationships reflect emotional, cultural, and personal dynamics.

The artists in this exhibition use color to tell stories, hold memories, and express identities. In their hands, color becomes a medium of empathy and understanding and a shared visual vocabulary through which inner worlds become visible. Whether bold or restrained, abstract or representational, each piece offers a glimpse into the artist’s lived experience, inviting viewers to find echoes of their own.

Spectrum celebrates the power of color to bridge differences, elicit emotions, and forge meaning. It is a reminder that color, like human connection, is never static or singular. Instead, it is a relationship that is always shifting, responding, and reshaping as it encounters new contexts and new perspectives. We invite you to experience this dynamic interplay and to see, in color, the rich spectrum of human relationships it reflects.
