Sarah Nguyen: Winged Eclipse, Momentary Shadows

Storytelling is central to Sarah Nguyen’s recent series of cut-fiber panels. Her blade-cut, intricate compositions are mostly landscape based and feature symbolic motifs—flora, fauna, and an ever-changing moon—to elicit childhood memories of myths, fables, and folklore. Dreams: Sedalia Visual Art Association Members’ Exhibition

A celebration of diverse artworks by members of Sedalia’s oldest visual arts organization. SVAA’S members are award-winning artists from throughout west-central Missouri. Selections range from paintings and watercolors, collage and photographs, to sculptural objects in metal.

Membership in the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art provides unique opportunities and sustains a lasting artistic legacy for future generations.
