2021 Annual Student Exhibition
The annual Student Exhibition, a State Fair Community College tradition dating back to the late 1960s, is open to all students currently taking studio art classes at the college. Interested student-artists collaborate with art department faculty to select work that best represents them. This year, the exhibition will also accommodate a selection of artwork made during the pandemic, dating from spring semester 2020. A purchase award, cash awards, and honorable mentions will be designated to highlight entries of special merit.

RE: Generation Unsettled/Settled
Unsettled/Settled is a group exhibition by RE: Generation, a collective of nine Kansas City-area artists. The coterie developed organically as a loose-knit group drawn together by common history and generational and gender experiences. Although these artists work in a wide range of media, content, styles, and techniques, RE: Generation nourishes a collegial spirit that supports and challenges individual studio practices through cross-fertilization and dialogue. Daum Museum Closed for Winter Break
The Daum Museum will be closed for winter break from Monday, December 20, 2021-Monday, January 3, 2022. The museum will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
